NSS Boycott: risk assessment and equality impact assessment timelines

Tuesday 03-01-2017 - 12:53

Sorana Vieru, NUS Vice President Higher Education, has today released the proposed timeline for the publication of a risk assessment and an equality impact assessment of the NSS boycott.

To further support unions, we will also be providing additional template resources and 1-2-1 support sessions. These resources are aimed to support those unions still deciding whether to partake in local NSS boycott action to make an informed decision.

Sorana said: “I hope these templates and the bespoke support sessions help unions make effective decisions around how they will campaign to stop the rises in tuition fees. The HE Bill is moving like a juggernaut through parliament and now is the time for us to show the government that students will not quietly accept these attacks on our education.”
