The voter registration deadline for next month's local elections is Thursday 13 April in England and Wales, and Monday 17 April in Scotland.
The next month could have huge implications for students across the UK, with local elections taking place in England, Scotland and Wales on Thursday 4 May.
All 32 local authorities in Scotland and all 22 local authorities in Wales will be elected, as well as some councils and six regional mayors in England.
The deadline to register to vote in England and Wales is Thursday 13 April. The deadline in Scotland is Monday 17 April. Polling day in each region is Thursday 4 May.

The Electoral Commission has produced a resource guide for encouraging local participation in elections in England, which contains all the information you need to know on the vote, as well as sharable graphics to promote on social media.
Our Mayor Your Vote is a government campaign for English mayoral elections, raising awareness of the elections taking place in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region, Tees Valley, West Midlands and West of England. This resource explains what powers a Combined Authority Mayor has, and includes a campaign toolkit to help spread the message.
