We’re having a sustainability party at the Eden Project. And we still have some spaces left.
On Friday 9 October, student leaders and sustainability activists will come together at Eden Project to celebrate the launch of two exciting new projects.
Firstly we’ll be hosting the European launch of ‘Students Organising for Sustainability’ (SOS), the new international alliance of student organisations collaborating to progress our work on social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
This global alliance will help student and youth groups come together to share ideas, collaborate on campaigns, and amplify their collective voice – and we’re really excited that NUS is a founding member
At the same time, we’ll be showcasing the launch of WHOLE EARTH? – the fantastic new photography exhibition from Mark Edward’s and Lloyd Timberlake’s, taking a worldwide and bracing look into the solutions to our social, economic and environmental crises.
Along with keynote speeches from Sir Tim Smit and Jonathon Porrit, as well as opportunities to get involved in global discussions, we hope you can join us for this exciting next step into student-led sustainability.
We have 30 spaces remaining for student officers to attend this event.
The launch will take place on Friday 09 October 2015 at the Eden Project in Cornwall, England. Please refer to the invitation for full details.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. The remaining 30 spaces will be given out on a first come first served basis. The event is free to attend, but you will need to cover your travel and accommodation.
