This is a critical time for international students. The negativity government and media outlets have generated towards migrants and international students in particular, has resulted in advancing changes to international student visas, access to education, employment and housing. As more international students face the reality of becoming refugees due to conflicts around the world and our rights as students continually diminish, this is our chance as students and activists to come together and learn more about the issues, develop vibrant campaigns and make our voices heard.
The International Activist Network will allow you to build your knowledge, learn how to campaign on current issues that impact international students, as well as share ideas and meet other international students and activists who want to create change.
The International Students Campaign Day of Solidarity on 17 November, is fast approaching and the International Activists Network is the perfect place to plan and prepare for it. The International Activist Network is only open to students and officers who define as international.
