Hungry to end food waste? We've got free training.

Wednesday 26-08-2015 - 13:02

Cutting down food waste is a great way to save money while reducing your environmental impact. Our free training from Love Food Hate Waste will help thousands of students take action.

Loads of people waste an incredible amount of money on food they don’t need to throw away. Not only is this bad for the environment, it’s obviously bad for the wallet too.

That’s why we want to help your students learn more about cutting food waste.

Just by taking simple actions like planning portions, using fridges and freezers properly, and making good use of leftovers, we can send a lot less food to landfill and have a lot more money in the pocket.

This is especially true of students, where shared housing and seperate shopping baskets can make it harder to make the most of communal meals and sensible spending.

Love Food Hate Waste’s training will help students learn more about the actions they can take to cut food waste, and encourage them to share the learning with their friends. We’re offering three hour sessions in ten cities, in November 2015 and February 2016.

This is a great opportunity to improve your campus’ environmental impact while saving your students money.

Book your training today

The training is totally free, and all you need to do is provide space for the training, and promote it to your students. The rest is all taken care of by Love Food Hate Waste.

If you’re from any of the cities below, get in touch with the contact listed to ask them a bit more about the training, and book it in for your students.
