NUS Scotland has launched a campaign calling for colleges and universities in Scotland to become democratic and ethical institutions.
The Charter for Democratic and ethical institutions lays out the principles which our universities and colleges should strive to follow. The Charter breaks down these expectations into five key areas which institutions can take action around: students; workers; teaching and research; governance; and money.
To support student groups to take action around this campaign, NUS Scotland has produced a campaign pack including key ideas for action and points to take forward, as well as example resources that can be used as part of the campaign locally. A range of graphics that can be used as posters and sharing pictures can also be downloaded for student groups to use.
