Get involved in NUS’ Committees

Monday 24-11-2014 - 17:42

The opportunity to get involved in the Charitable Services Committees is currently available.

Use your skills to make a difference to the work we do to support students’ unions by getting involved in one of the four Direction and Oversight Boards; Sustainability, Quality SUs, Student Opportunities or Development.

There are voluntary roles available on each of the committees for student officers to get involved in; new thinking on student opportunities and employability, being part of a high-level think-tank on sustainability and social responsibility for NUS, ensuring the quality mark reflects the needs of participating unions or being part of the committee that advises the Board of NUS Charitable Services on the strategic support needs and people development needs of the student movement.

Why get involved?
This is a great way to learn more about NUS and influence how it supports students’ unions.

It is a great development opportunity and will enhance existing skills and knowledge or provide you with new skills and knowledge, which will in turn improve your career prospects.

More information about these opportunities can be found within the role profile. To apply, please submit your application form, cover letter and Equal Opportunities form to the executiveoffice@nus.org.uk by 28 November 2014.

We look forward to working with you!
