Last year we surveyed the first wave of graduates from the £9k fees system and now we want to build on that research and hear about the experiences of students who’ve recently finished their undergraduate degrees.
In 2015 we spoke to the first cohort of students graduating under the £9k tuition fees system. This research led to the influential report Debt in the First Degree which highlighted graduate’s concerns over the cost of their degree.
We’re now looking to continue that research and learn about the experiences of those who finished their undergraduate degree this year and need your help to share the survey with students from your institution so they can have their say.
We’re encouraging students’ unions to share the survey link on social media, with any groups of students who completed their degree last year, and with any postgraduates at your university who may have completed their undergraduate degree in 2015.
We hope this follow-up research will prove insightful and help us build an evidence base to support students and fight government cuts. As an incentive to gain a significant response, we’re offering students one of two £150 cash prizes or one of four £50 cash prizes!
Students can have their say and be in with the chance of winning one of the above prizes by completing a short 15 minute survey online here.
Please note: the survey closes on Friday 25 March 2016.
