The decision is up to you, I appreciate the time you have taken to read this far!

I am very proudly part of the fastest growing universities in Wales. I’m currently also on the Women’s Committee for NUS Wales, and thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the chance to get involved!

Hello Everyone!
I am Aston Students’ Union’s President 2016/17. I believe I should be elected to this position as throughout my time at University I have continuously been developing my SU through 4 elected officer positions. Since Aston re-joined the NUS last year, I have been excited to get involved and help shape the SU's of tomorrow. After attending SU 2016 this resolve has only gotten stronger, I look forward to working with all of you with or without this position!

Continue with Kira

Hi, I'm Kira! President of the wonderfully small & specialist Liverpool Hope SU. For the past year I have sat on the People & Talent group, helping to shape the work of NUS and some of it's biggest events of the year - including SUs 2016. And I have really enjoyed it! I think it's super important to have the voices of people from lots of different unions on these boards, and that's why I'm here, hoping to be re-elected onto it!

Amy Rust

Union of UEA Students

I’m a new Sabbatical Officer at the Union of UEA Students and sat on my union’s Human Resources and Nominations Sub-Committee for two years. As a member of the Students' Union Development (P&T) Advisory Group, I would build on the great work of the group to ensure NUS leads the way as a organisation that places people development at it's heart.
I would use my experience to scrutinise the work of the Board and HR Support Unit to ensure our work is effective and delivering the best opportunities for staff across the country.

Will Fry

Lincoln SU

Something new to the table!

After seeing how unhappy students in Lincoln were with the NUS and subsequently voting to disaffiliate, I feel that now is the time to work with the NUS to make improvements to help prevent further students feeling this way, and also to win back those who do already. There is no point voicing our concerns to thin air, we must bring them to the right people to activate change for the benefit of us all!

Daniel Nasr

Goldsmiths Students' Union

Vote Danny #AnotherOne

Hi, I'm Danny Nasr. Currently SU President at Goldsmiths Student Union. Whilst serving as the Education Officer my union went through a well documented breakdown with three of my fellow officers resigning leaving me the only sabb left. I then became the interim President ing covering each of the roles to ensure that students on my campus were still served by their union. And I'm proud to say we managed to do that.

I believe that I would be perfect for this role as I possess the "key to success". We must remain smart, we must remain loyal and we must always be grateful. And I believe that appreciation of this is very important to this role.

Bless Up

Eva Crossan Jory

Goldsmiths Student Union

Oppurtunities 4-Eva

Hi I'm Eva

I’m running for this position because I want NUS to support students, activities and students’ unions to look at new ways for collaboration on campuses, looking at supporting student groups that find it difficult to engage with the traditional students’ unions models. We should be setting out a vision for student opportunities for all – where cost, caring responsibilities or background are not barriers.

Ela Hollies

KeeleSU

Hi I'm Ela and I'm a 2nd year Activities Sabb at KeeleSU. I've really enjoyed working with student societies, volunteers and media this year and have managed to make a substantial long-term impact in our Student Union including hiring a new CEO and successfully lobbying the university to increase our Activities & Volunteering department budget by £20,000. I'm keen to get more of the less NUS-engaged unions involved in the implementation of the new student opps strategy to ensure no SU is left behind. I think Keele has a lot to bring to the national stage and as an SU we are excited at the prospect of working together with other SUs to collectively improve the experiences of students everywhere.
