Aadam Muuse

Hi,

My name's Aadam, i'm currently Open Place Rep on the NUS Black Students' national committee and i'm running to be your next NUS Black Students' Officer.

I'm running to reinvigorate the grassroots of our movement, and ensure that BSC continues to defend Black students at all levels, drawing together local efforts and providing them with a national platform.

I’m standing on a record of years of committed work on behalf of Black students, and I will lead a fighting Black Students’ Campaign that works to unite all students of African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean descent.

Mustie Smith
#BeyondLiberation

My name is Mustie Smith and I am running to be your Black Students' Officer for 2016-17.

I am the current President at the Surrey Students' Union and I'm happy to say that during my term, we have elected the most amount of black officers ever within our Union in 50 years.

Through implementing effective engagement strategies we have seen more black students get involved in the Union, and their issues have been addressed as a result.

If elected I will continue this work at a national level and work to improve the experience of all black students.
