Three unions are offering their expertise to the sector in support consultancy services.
Collaboration is key to the success of the student movement. The knowledge and expertise developed in one union can be invaluable in supporting another and students’ union staff can develop skills by learning from shared experiences from across the sector.
As part of our work to support the development of SUs across the country, we have been asking unions to suggest areas of their expertise that they feel could be beneficial to others.
We currently have offers of interim support from three unions: University of Birmingham Guild of Students, Kent Union and Leeds University Union.
Staff at these unions have decades of experience in the sector, and are offering consultancy services on a wide range of support areas. These include:
- Democratic structures
- Community development
- Well-being support within university accommodation
- Event management
- Market research and segmentation
- Interim management support
- Wellbeing and advice support
- Student engagement
- Bar and catering operations management
- Market research
If you’d like to take advantage of these offers, or think your union could offer support to others, then check out our new Brokering Interim Support page.
