This year will be another big year for democracy, with a range of elections coming up including the National Assembly for Wales Election, Police and Crime Commissioner and the possibility of an EU Referendum.

The Welsh Government has given NUS Wales £5000 to run a competition for Students’ Unions to run Voter Registration activities.

Your union or student club or society can apply for up to £1,000, with a total of £5,000 available for the winning bids. The competition opens today and closes on 26 January.

We are looking for Students’ Unions in Wales to run innovative activities that encourage their students to make their voices heard on 5 May.

You can download the application form here and the terms and conditions can be found here.

Make sure you move quickly as the deadline is fast approaching!
